I designed the Wedding Mini Kit for Project Life!
I love all 100 cards, but here are just a few of my favorites...

So how did this happen? Let me tell you the story. The really awesome story.

Early November I got a text from my sister, telling me about this holiday card contest. I usually don't enter contests, but this one stood out to me. So I entered not just one, but two designs. (I really wanted to win!)

Well, on November 8, 2012... I was hoping to hear that my designs made it into the top 25. I started working for the day and the first email I got was from Becky Higgins herself. Yes, THE Becky Higgins! I read the email. I read it again. I called my husband to read it to him. And my mom, then my sisters... I was shocked! I had to wait an hour to respond because I was shaking... with excitement!

So what did she say? Really nice things. So nice. "You have a gift and I'm a fan of your style. And I'd like you to tell me your thoughts on potentially designing for me."

Of course I said YES! And 3 weeks later... the Project Life Wedding Mini Kit was completed. It was a crazy 3 weeks, but oh so fun!

Becky made the announcement on her blog today and I can finally open my big mouth and share it with everyone! See what other new products she introduced today too. They are all so pretty! And be sure to check out my bio too (Did I mention... I hate writing about myself?).

For those of you who don't know what Project Life is... learn more here. It is scrapbooking... simplified. I will be starting this year (waiting for the olive edition). It is a great way to document life without the hassle. I'm all for easy... and this is do-able!

Jennie and Brandon's Thank You Postcards

Remember the cute wedding invitations for Jennie and Brandon?

Well, they are officially married now. And here are the awesome thank you postcards they will be sending out! We added some funny options on this postcard too! But I think my favorite part is how the text goes behind them on the front.

Sent these lovely wedding programs off this week! I love how they turned out. And you know how much I look forward to holding the final printed piece! Hooray for my first client in Florida! :)

Farias Thank You Cards

Remember Shannon and Hernan's chevron wedding invitations? Well, look what I received in the mail the other day! A cute thank you postcard from them looking so happy on their wedding day!

It is check mark style (which make writing thank you cards less of a drag!). If you look closely, we added some funny options like: 'awful' and 'we can't wait to return it!'

Jennie and Brandon's Wedding Invitations

Jennie and Brandon are just attractive people! Don't you agree? I love the little details on this invitation. I especially loved pulling it out of the envelope and seeing it all bundled up!

Kaycee and Kade's Carnival Wedding Invitations

Kaycee and I go way back. So, it didn't surprise me one bit, that she was planning a carnival wedding! This girl knows how to have a good time! It looks like a wedding you don't want to miss! I absolutely love how fun they look! Congrats to Kaycee and Kade!

Jenna and Steve's Wedding Thank You Postcards

Remember Jenna's Wedding Announcements? Well, I designed these thank you postcards for her too. And I got mine in the mail last week (hence the beat-up corners and upside down postal stamps). Seriously, within a month of her wedding... when does that ever happen? She is on top of it!

Shannon and Hernan's Wedding Invitations

I went to high school with these two, so glad to see them tying the knot! I love how these invitations turned out! Aren't they just the cutest (the couple AND the invitations)?

Kimmie & Rusty's Wedding Invitations

Didn't they turn out just fabulous? I always love seeing my work printed. There is just something about holding it in my hands that I LOVE! I'm excited for this wedding! These two are a perfect match!

Jenna & Steve's Wedding Invitations

People of the internet, meet Jenna. She was one of my roommates in College. Boy, did we have fun that year! Anyways, she is getting married so soon! In fact, she caught the bouquet at my wedding. Well these are her invitations!! Awesome, huh? She is such a classy girl, and it was so fun to finally design these for her (since this was already the plan for a couple years)! I can't wait for the wedding- I know it is going to be a blast!

BFA Project

Once upon a time, not long ago... I designed an invitation suite for my Senior project. It was for a hypothetical couple. Here are a few photos of it in the gallery, along with the invitation and save the date. I also designed the menu, favors, thank you cards, cake topper, program... the whole deal! Luckily, they let me graduate. Yippee!

Church Thank you Cards

Since I'm playing catch up here... thought I'd add our wedding thank you cards to the bunch! All we had to do was fill in the blank. I totally recommend this! I don't know how people write so many thank you cards and actually get them out within a year!

Kimmie and Rusty

Meet my friend Kimmie and her fiance, Rusty. Kimmie and I go back to our soccer playing days. Isn't she the cutest? I designed these Save the Date Postcards... and we ended up not using them when the planning went on hold! I'm currently working on their invitations- so stay tuned!
